There was definitely a buzz about the place today at Cutting Edge. After coming together as a group to share news everyone dispersed to get on with their current project.
Hilary was keen to get a wall hanging finished.
Jeannie was on a mission to get a quilt finished
Whilst Dilys was eager to get started on a new quilt.
Whilst they were engrossed in their work others were happily playing with paint!
There were thermofax screen prints in various designs to try out, Indian wood blocks and free form fabric dyeing – all good fun!
Some of the group decided to have a go at designing some fabric that they could use next month to make a book sleeve to send to the Quilters Guild for the tombola stall and the Festival of Quilts in August.
