What a Busy Day!

Today there was much activity and chatter amongst the group. After sharing news about the new Kaffe Fassett exhibition in Lampeter and the progress of the Mothers of Africa Charity project Chris demonstrated how to make roses from wired ribbon.

And, group members produced a wonderful array of them! Great for decorating lampshades, handbags etc.

There were some excellent examples of the groups handy work that was shared. Jeannie showed off her lovely quilts and a bag that she had made. This is a quilt that she has made for a wedding present

Meanwhile Melanie has been on a mission making book covers – lovely!

And, Liz has got her patchwork ready for quilting!

All in all, a very productive day – looking forward to next month already.

Sandra is going to show us how to make gift boxes!
