If you can remember back a couple of months ago we told you about a wall hanging that we were planning to make to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lakesdie Primary School in Cardiff.
Well, after a period of time planning and gathering resources we have made a start with the school children. Today, we visited to work with children in the reception class. The focus was on getting each child (90 of them) to put their hand print on fabric.
Jess was in charge of recruiting the children. Ready and eager they all stepped up to load their hands with paint
Pam then guided the children to Hilary who helped them stamp on the fabric
And finally, Clare helped them clean the paint off before going back in to class. All precision engineered by the group which gave a great end result!
