Today, Cutting Edge held its very first Christmas Lunch – which was a bring and share affair! And what a super spread it was thanks to everyone involved!
Before tucking into the lovely lunch Jeannie showed us some of her new pieces of work. There was a quilt that she is making for a friend
The other was the quilt that she has made uses the loose fabric collage technique – it is awesome.
After this breathtaking display we moved onto lunch – yummy!
And after that everyone delved into the secret Santa. The remit was for everyone to bring something crafty – either handmade or items that were purchased. It was wonderful to see the delight on people’s faces as they opened their gifts.
Liz especially, as she guessed that her gift had probably come from the USA!
Sandra was delighted with her little angel kit
As ever Jeannie was a busy bee, managing to make some exquisite little decorations from buttons, fabric and beads.
And, she was very lucky to have some of Santa’s little helpers to help her untangle them when they got in a bit of a tangle.
Finally, it was noted that there were some very elegant ladies in attendance – sparkling ready for Christmas!
Pam, Hilary and Monica would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year and we look forward to may happy meeting in 2014.
