Back in Action Following the Christmas Break
Today we held the first Dyeing to Paint session of the New Year, which was great fun although it did take some of us a little time to get going!
Monica was focused on producing a sunset for a quilt that she is making. She is hoping that some machine embroidery will improve it – fingers crossed!
Glynis was on a mission trying out painting with shaving foam and other things!
And Isobelle tried out a bit of Shibori style painting – looks fab!
Next month we are going to do a bit of die cutting to recycle Christmas cards and in March there is a view that it would be good to explore shibori in more detail.
Meanwhile the first Cutting Edge meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday 14 January at Ystradowen Village Hall between 10.00am and 4.00pm. All are welcome.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available and you will need to bring your own lunch – see you there!
