A Jolly Day Sewing

Today was the first day back after the New Year and everyone was enthusiastic to get on with their sewing. Helen was finishing a quilt that has been in the making for some years.

Dianne had also been rummaging through her unfinished pieces with the intention of finishing something off. This piece is the same design on both sides and is being completed using quilt as you go method.

Dilys spent the day making this beautiful little bag from Japanese design fabric that she bought from the recent fabric sale at Glamorgan Quilters. She has enough of the fabric left to make something else You will have to watch this space for the sequel!

Pat decided it was time to use up some her scraps to make a baby quilt – the design is lovely and so easily done!

Sylvana was busily beavering away doing quilt as you go – what a lovely design!

And Pam was engrossed in seeing how she could embellish a piece of felt work that she completed at last weeks felting workshop.
