Today, a small but perfectly formed group of sewing enthusiasts met to learn about machine quilting, and Sonia Fox the tutor did a great job in helping them to meet their needs.
As well as learning how to use the walking and machine embroidery foot to best effect, Sonia gave guidance on needles, threads and machine maintenance – what more could you ask for?
She had brought lots of samples so that everyone could see what they might aspire to in the future.
And by the end of the day everyone had made a great attempt to harness the skills – but as Sonia pointed out – it is practice, practice, practice!!!
A great day. Many thanks to Sonia for her sharing her immense bank of knowledge, skills and wisdom.
