Today, we resumed the Dyeing to Paint sessions after a bit of a summer break! And, what a lovely day it was. Always organised Isobelle came along with some compressed sponge to show us how wonderfully effective it can be.
Fiona breezed in with some new paint rollers which everyone seemed to be very jealous of – they have now gone down on the must have list!
Hilary, just returned from Morocco, wowed everyone with the beautiful threads that she had picked up on her travels.
Her patience, which she usually has shed loads of, got tested though when she started to wind the thread onto card. She seems to have got in a bit of a pickle?
She soon moved onto working on her fabric collage, which is coming along very nicely.
Chris joined us for the first time and seemed to have enjoyed having a go with the markel stiks and fabric transfer paint. She was highly amused that she managed to produce WC backwards!?
Monica tried out her new markel stiks with freezer paper and plastic stencils.
And, everyone was delighted to welcome Ann who is experienced and talented when it comes to paint.
Looking forward to next month already!
