Ystradowen Village hall was buzzing today with fourteen sewing enthiusiasts beaverng away on their unfinished creations .
The “noisy but nice” corner got off to an enthusiastic start. Catherine was working on some flower panels.
and showed off the quilt bag that she currently making at a craft class.
Jan brought her bag along, and though distracted with a birthday cake to celebrate her “21st birthday” made good progress with it.
Jeannie was her usual productive self. First she completed a quilt that she is donating to Project Linus.
Then she completed two hand embroidered cushion covers that she is donating to our fundraising event – so generous and much appreciated!
Stephanie brought along a quilt to work on.
and showed some stack and wack panels that she had made at a workshop.
Bridget was quietly hand quilting.
Gilly was machine quilting.
and Kathryn was working on a book that she is making at a craft class.
Corinne and Keris were busy working on quilts. Corinne managed to sandwich hers together ready for quilting.
And Keris was sewing the border on – nearly there!
