Patchwork House a Honeypot for Cutting Edge Members

Yesterday Monica And Isobelle ventured out to Pontyclun to visit the Giles Gallery and the Patchwork House in Llantrisant. Little did they know that when they got to the Patchwork House they would meet quite a few comrades from Cutting Edge.

Catherine Pritchard arrived on a mission to buy some fabric for current projects and she showed a piece of work that she did at a weekend retreat.

She was closely followed by Catherine Macey, Salinder Gammage (a Glamorgan Quilter), Gilly Middleburgh and Yvonne Davies!

And, as ever Sue Bowers, owner of the Patchwork House and member of Cutting Edge, was on hand with helpful advice and a great range of fabrics.

As well as visiting the Patchwork House Monica and Isobelle spent quite a bit of time in the Model House chatting to artists who were busy working in their studios. They also came across some wonderful offcuts of lazer cut organzas which they snapped up for future projects.

A lovely day out and great to see fellow quilters out enjoying themselves as well.
