Today the Dyeing to Paint group met for the first time after the long summer break and were eager to get on with various projects.
A few of the group members decided to try out monoprinting using acetates…..
…and it wasn’t long before there were some promising results
Others were occupied on the side lines with various different pieces of work. Hilary was busy creating pattern pieces
Ann was rediscovering burning fabrics and was producing some lovely samples.
And, Liz and Keris were busy making poppies – Liz for the forthcoming WW1 quilt exhibition that is being planned round the Cowbridge Remembrance day and Keris was making poppies to embellish her WW1 quilt.
A lovely calm and enjoyable day with friends – what more could you want?
