Today Cutting Edge members gathered to celebrate the coming of Christmas with a bring and share lunch. But before the celebrations began members were keen to take the oppotunity to carry on stitching!
Little groups at each end of the table were engrossed in their work
Gilly had brought in the table runner she started at Jeannies workshop
And was working on a small piece of quilted work
Whilst the two Sue’s were having fun on the Sissix machine using card that Hilary had rescued from round the Christmas Crackers at the recent Glamorgan Quilters lunch
And, Keris was on a mission to finish a Christmas wreath
Fran brought along a quilt that she had made at a recent Sheen Norquay workshop
Finally, it was lunchtime and it has to be said that as well as being starts at sewing members are also a dream when it comes to preparing a delicious spread of food.
Full and happy everyone enjoyed opening their Secret Santa presents whilst singing Christmas carols. And, as the day came to a close Hilary and Monica were surprised and delighted to receive beautiful orchid plants as a Christmas gift from the group. THANK YOU!!!
Merry Christnas everyone – looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
