Yesterday’s session fell on Valentine’s Day and those who love to sew gathered for an action packed day of creativity.
There was much in production…..
Corinne was making a quilt for a family member
and she brought along work that she had done at a recent Judi Mendelssohn workshop
Sylvana was busy making a baby quilt.
And Pat was making this quilt for a grandaughter in Australia
As ever there was lots of completed projects, which was a joy to behold.
This is a Suduko quilt that Chris had made from a pattern in the Quilters Guild magazine
Ths is Caroline’s first attempt at a quilt – wonderful and colourful.
Dilys showed a bag that is made from an Oakshott pattern and fabrics.
Isobelle brought along a fabulous book that she has recently completed and that has taken her 3 years to complete ,,,
Liz showed a wall hanging that she had recently completed
Jeannie had made this quilt for a relative. Very different from her usual intricate designs but just as beautiful
Keris showed bags she had made at the recent decorative bag workshop

Jan had been busy. She showed a bag that she had made, an apron and a wall hanging that was to celebrate her husband’s 70th birthday
Sally had made a Bride to Be sash for her niece….
Sally also showed some syringe driver bags that Hilary had made for Velindre hospital
Chris D was away but sent a photo of Welsh lady cushions that she had made
And energy levels were kept up with home made heart shaped shortbread biscuits and Welsh cakes – thanks to Liz and Monica
