It was a quiet day at Cutting Edge today with a number of people on holiday but there was still a wonderful array of work to be admired.
Gilly and Sally spent the day together creating and chatting to their hearts content. And by the end of the day Sally had made two bags.
Corinne was proud of a tea cosy she had knitted – and rightly so!
She showed the group a small wall hanging that she had completed. She painted and stamped the fabric at Dyeing to Paint and then finished it off with hand and machine embroidery.
And Stephanie was working on a piece that she started at Dyeing to Paint
Jaci was on a mission making spec holders – great idea and so practical!
Marie showed a lovely wall hanging and two bibs that she had recently completed.
And Keris was busy doing a red work picture for one of her grand children
Steph, a new visitor to the group showed a beautiful bead bracelet that she had made.
Amanda was busy finishing a hexagon quilt – lovely colours!
And Chric M. seems to have moved on from teddies to bunnies – beautiful!
As well as group members we welcomed 4 visitors to the group. Jaci McQuillan, Caroline Leonard and Amanda Randall made a return visit and we welcomed Steph Smith for the first time. We hope they had an enjoyable day and we look forward to seeing them again soon
