Cutting Edge sessions are always a busy affair and today was no exception.
Those around the table were busy working on various projects and catching up for a chat with friends. Brenda, Bridget and Carol were busy quilting..
Others were busy discussing a planned community war quilt. What colour fabrics, threads etc. How can we make the poppies? Liz seemed to have a plan…
And the Scan ‘n Cut and Sissix machines were available to play with!
Monica cut out some letters..
… and a seahorse which will be turned into a stamp block for an up and coming Dyeing to Paint workshop
She also showed the group a cushion that she had made using a Sissix machine die cut
Caroline was on a mission to finish some cushions that she plans to give to her Russian visitors who are coming next week
At Show and Tell Jan showed the group a denim bag that she had made for her sister. She embellished it with the most beautiful machine embroidery
Jeannie showed a stunningl quilt that she was completing
Brenda showed a stunning cross stitch that she had done of her grandchildren.
And Corrine showed a stitched picture that she had made at the recent Alison Moger workshop.
More photos of the work that was created at Alison Moger’s workshop can be viewed here
How lucky we are to have such a talented and friendly group to share our passion of sewing with!
