Dyeing to Paint was underway again after the summer break and there was an eagerness to get going on creating. As ever there were some amazing results.
The recently purchased print blocks and paints were popular and resulted in various pieces of work containing acorns, seed heads and poppy seed heads
Liz was on a mission with them
and Fiona created a wonderful fabric landscape by first dyeing her fabric them overprinting with the new blocks
Isobelle experimented with the transfer art paints (TAP) to good effect
And Hillary painted with the TAP paints and transferred her image onto a small canvas which looked amazing
Glynis made a print block using a geranium leaf. Love the colours Glynis.
and a number of people created pieces with Glynis’ flower stencil. Lots of potential here for some fancy stitching!
and Stephanie had a beautiful piece of fabric created using painted bondaweb
Finally, Salinder showed some cards that she had made using used tea bags, a little paint and some machine embroidery.
Looking forward to seeing some beautiful finished pieces soon!
